Sod-Cutting at Kuntenanse Presbyterian JHS

Yesterday, 9th of February 2026,The Hon. DCE Hon Olivia Bentil had a sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of a new Junior High School block at Kuntanase Presbyterian JHS, a project being undertaken by Omega Fraternity, a benevolent non-governmental organization.

I Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District Assembly led by the Hon. DCE expressed their appreciation to the timely intervention, describing the project as a major boost to teaching and learning in the area.

Hon. Olivia Bentil reaffirmed the Assembly’s readiness to work with development partners whose goals align with the district’s development agenda.

The ceremony brought together traditional leaders, education officials and members of the community, all united in hope and confidence that the project will be completed on schedule to improve school infrastructure and enhance learning outcomes
