Livelihood Support Equipment Distribution Programme for PWDs

On the 17th of June, the District Assembly led by the Hon. Olivia Bentil (DCE)and the Office of the Member of Parliament, Hon. Alhaji Alhassan Kobina Ghansah, Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) received various forms of livelihood support, including industrial sewing machines, refrigerators, ice chests, spraying machines, fufu processing machines and cash assistance.

During the event, Some Persons with disabilities who had their Natonal Insurance card expired were given free renewal.

The intervention forms part of ongoing efforts to reduce economic hardship, promote entrepreneurship and ensure that vulnerable members in the Breman Asikuma District are actively included in the development agenda.
